No Crank Related symptoms: - Loss of other platform functions - Intermittent no-start from platform The machine will not start from the basket. It starts and runs fine from the ground controls.
Confirmed cause: Internal failure of the platform emergency stop switch. Repair performed: Replaced the platform emergency stop switch. Removed the temporary jumper wire and connected the harness to the new switch. Verification: The machine was tested multiple times. It cranked and started correctly from the platform controls. Pushing the platform e-stop now properly kills the engine and prevents a restart, confirming correct operation. Technician notes: - This fault can be intermittent at first if the switch contacts are beginning to fail. - Always remove any test jumpers before returning a machine to service. - Corrosion inside the switch housing is a common cause of this failure, especially on machines stored outdoors.
